Voilà bientôt trois semaines que Philippe nous a quitté. ![]()
16 ans d'amitié, de musique partagée, aux concerts les uns des autres ou ensemble sur scène et en improvisation déstructurée (Hizornari!). ![]()
Pour toujours Mantra, Suburbs, Ulysse ou Retrovertigo resteront liés à ces années au fil desquelles le géSpectrum Orchestrumstrum et Bärlin, Philippe et Clément ont cheminé dans les espaces soniques et (méta)physiques de Lille et de ses environs.![]()
On pense à la désormais mythique rue de la Renaissance, au Faubourg des MusiqueLa malterie musiquesiques ou au Festival Tour de Chauffe.![]()
Aux films de série Z, à l'anthropologie marxiste et aux classiques du cinéma japonais.![]()
Aussi à une virée à la mer, à quelques après-midi passés autour d'un thé et du kilimanjaro darkjazz ensemble ![]()
Et à toutes celles et ceux pour qui Philippe compte tant et à qui il manque déjà si cruellement.![]()

It has been almost three weeks since Philippe passed away. ![]()
Sixteen years of friendship, shared music, attending each other's concerts or performing together on stage and in free improvisation (Hizornari!). ![]()
Mantra, Suburbs, Ulysse, and Retrovertigo will forever be linked to those years during which the brilliant Spectrum Orchestrum and Bärlin, Philippe and Clément explored the sonic and (meta)physical spaces of Lille and its surroundings.![]()
We remember the now legendary Rue de la Renaissance, the Faubourg des Musiques, La Malterie Musiques, and the Festival Tour de Chauffe.![]()
We remember B-movies, Marxist anthropology, and Japanese cinema classics.![]()
We also remember a trip to the seaside, a few afternoons spent drinking tea and listening to kilimanjaro darkjazz ensemble. ![]()
And we think of all those who love Philippe so much and already miss him so terribly.![]()
Bon voyage, comrade.
